Our History

Ritchies began life in 1972 as Ritchie Bates Pottery manufacturers by John Ritchie after a successful career with Stoke City and Sheffield Wednesday. During the late 70’s the manufacturer changed to a wholesaler of seconds Hotelware, primarily with Steelite and latterly with Churchill China.

In the Early 2000’s the company diversified into other products, from Chefs Equipment, serving ware and finally to capital equipment and kitchen and Bar design. Since that time, we have worked with some of the largest groups in the country and are proud to have designed, supplied and installed many major schemes throughout the UK.

Still family owned, we have the ability to work on the largest schemes while holding true to the core values that only a family owned company can provide in today challenging business conditions.
